Stop-animation film project: Crabelina

Picture of a range of types of crabs

In early 2026, I was invited on board with this incredible team as a consultant, choreographer, and producer. Although I have made many films myself, it is my first time being involved with a stop-animation project. It has been lovely getting to know the young team, Alessandro Cino Zolfanelli (Director and animator) and Chloe Malone (Producer).

SUMMARY of the film : When a nervous ballerina starts turning into a crab mid-audition, her humiliating rejection spirals into chaos as she returns to the stage for one last, wildly destructive performance.

CRABELINA is the story of radical self-acceptance as a young dancer strives to be seen outside of the confines attributed to her physical appearance.
