Geography of the Body

Having just received the ADAD Trailblazer award acknowledging my choreography, I was asked to contribute to this 2008 Dance UK issue on Choreography. I wrote this article as an introduction to practice. In it, I begin to discuss my interest in and approach to the body in space. This was written before I started my PhD, where I explored this further. My subsequent work, of course, is embedded in the geography of the body – the cartography of being in place.
